Protecting children from danger! Information on building protection by a non-profit organization.

Nikko contributes to the deterioration and discoloration of wooden structures in kindergartens and nurseries! With special technology, we protect children from splinters and thorns in the wood.

Nikko, as a member of the NPO Japan Building Preservation Association, contributes to "wood remodeling" and hazard prevention using advanced wood preservation technology. If the deterioration or discoloration of wooden structures in kindergartens and nursery schools is left unattended, children may face dangers from splinters and thorns in the wood. By using wood preservation technology to restore deteriorated wood to like-new condition, balconies and decks become brighter, and splinters and thorns are prevented. Additionally, the wood regeneration technology of the NPO does not use any chemical agents, providing peace of mind. On concrete or synthetic resin decks and balconies, surface temperatures can reach over 75°C in direct sunlight during the peak of summer. If young children walk barefoot on these surfaces, they can suffer mild burns. The technology of the NPO meets the Ministry of Health's "Toy Safety (ST) Standards," ensuring that wooden decks can be used safely and securely. It is our responsibility as adults to protect children. Nikko is committed to building preservation activities to ensure that children can live healthily and safely.
